Eventos de design de soluções são eventos focados no design rápido de ideias de inovação aberta, usando uma metodologia centrada no indivíduo. Estamos lançando um desafio, o TPrize, com até US$ 100.000 em prêmios, para tentar responder à seguinte pergunta:
“Como as comunidades desfavorecidas podem propor e participar de oportunidades para desenvolvimento de habilidades e aprendizagem continuada por toda a vida para criar estilos de vida produtivos e prósperos no século XXI?”
Participe deste desafio facilitado pelo MIT SOLVE para:
• Gerar e refinar sua ideia para o TPrize
• Aprender como apresentar uma proposta de solução ao TPrize

Visão geral do desafio
Entende-se que ser capaz de adquirir novas habilidades por toda a vida seja crucial neste século XXI. A falta de oportunidades de aprendizagem acessíveis, de alta qualidade e efetivas são bastante pronunciadas na América Latina e Caribe. Dois em cada cinco jovens não estão estudando, ou empregados ou se aprimorando, e as meninas estão sendo desproporcionalmente afetadas.
Baseado nos Objetivo de Desenvolvimento Sustentável das Nações Unidas #4, o desafio TPrize busca grupos ou pessoas inovadoras, de qualquer lugar do mundo, que desenvolvam ideias inovadoras que utilizem tecnologia, visando contribuir para:
1. Desenvolver modelos novos e alternativos que ampliem o acesso a emprego e contribua para desenvolver habilidades de empreendedorismo, técnica em linguagem ou aspectos humanísticos e de comunicação.
2. Prover programas de aprimoramento ou aprendizagem, com equidade, que possa ser acessível em qualquer localização, independente de recursos financeiros, ou características de conectividade em toda a América Latina e Caribe.
3. Dar suporte e desenvolver capacidade de educadores formais e informais para preparar melhor os aprendizes de qualquer idade para as atividades profissionais de hoje e amanhã.
4. Utilizar dados para melhor compreender as necessidades dos empregadores e melhor informar a política, alocação de recursos e desenvolvimento de habilidades do futuro.

TPrize Solution Design Workshops
What is TPrize?
TPrize is an open innovation initiative develope by Tecnológico de Monterrey and
Universidad de los Andes, which, the main objective is to promote and contribute to
the solution of the most relevant problems in Latin America education. TPrize does
this through the design of high impact challenges to convene the community of
innovators later to submit solutions for these challenges. The best solutions will enter
a 2-year acceleration program. During this time, they will receive support from the
community conformed by Tec de Monterrey and Universidad de los Andes networks,
as well as from their partners to boost and test their solution in the communities
targeted by the program. TPrize is powered by MIT SOLVE, the open innovation
initiative of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, which uses a methodology of
a collective generation of challenges public solutions and collaborative work

What are the solution design workshops?
The solution design workshops are highly interactive events that have the objective
of generating and refining ideas from the community, to be submitted as solutions of
the TPrize 2020 challenge. These workshops are done in different cities of strategic
countries in Latin America during the time the challenge is open (till march 31st of
2020). The workshops tend to attract every people that are interested in submitting a
solution proposal to the challenge question of the TPrize challenge. Specifically, we
seek these types of attendees:
● Professors and students in every educational level or type of institution
● Entrepreneurs in the field of education
● People that work in civil associations focused on education
The attendees can participate as:
● People interested in submitting a solution proposal that wants to refine their
idea
● Experts in education interested in helping with their knowledge to the people
who will submit an idea
A host is a leading institution in education among its communities, cities, and
countries, which have a high impact on Tprize initiative thanks to their experience,
networks, and presence in the community.
Been a host implies that the institution will provide:
● A space for 40 people, arranged in working tables of 5 to 6 persons
● Two projectors (one for the English presentation and the second for the
Portuguese version)
● Snack table (coffee, water, snacks, etc.)
● Support to invite people from its networks (TPrize team will provide the
invitation)
● Working materias (Pens, white sheets, post-its, etc.)
The workshop and the mention of the host institution will be published in the TPrize
webpage, as well as in the MIT SOLVE channels
